Ms. Vaishnavi of Materials Science and Catalysis Division submitted her thesis titled “Designing novel catalysts for conversion of biomass derivatives furfural alcohol and levulinic acid into value-added chemicals” to Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal for the award of Ph.D. degree in the presence of her guide Dr. Ganapati V. Shanbhag and Dr. Anand B. Halgeri, Director. During her research work at PPISR, she published four (4) research articles in high impact journals along with three manuscript in the pipeline. She also Co-authored two (2) Book Chapters in the books by Springer-Nature and Elsevier publishers. She also won six (6) best presentation awards at National and International conferences. Ms. Vaishnav also received the prestigious Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) CSIR, Government of India. We which her all the best.
