Inauguration of the event:
The Annual Day of 2023 commenced at 10:30 am with a warm welcome from program coordinator Dr. Ananda K, followed by the esteemed presence of His Holiness Shree Eeshapriya Thertha Swamiji, our revered director Dr. A. B. Halgeri, honorable finance advisor Sri. Srinivasa Rao, honorary treasurer Sri G. V. Krishna, Sri Gopal Sabarai (personal secretary to Swamiji), along with other guests, faculty, and students. The invocation by Ms. Meghana set the tone for the event. Dr. A. B. Halgeri delivered the welcome address, offering insights into the overall activities of the institute. The inauguration was conducted by His Holiness Shree Eeshapriya Thertha Swamiji, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Following this auspicious start, Dr. Ganapati V. Shanbhag, Dean and HoD presented the research highlights at PPISR.
Honoring the winners by Poojya Swamiji
During the event, Ms. Bhavana Kulakarni was honored as the best research scholar for 2023, recognizing her significant contributions to scientific endeavors at PPISR. Additionally, Mr. Sujith received the best presentation award for 2023, acknowledging his outstanding achievement.
Honoring the Sports winners by Poojya Swamiji
During the annual day, the winners of the sports competitions were honored. Poojya Swamiji His Holiness Shree Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji presided over the celebration, which was graced by the presence of our esteemed director, Dr. A. B. Halgeri, and our honorable Finance Advisor, Sri Sreenivasa Rao. They joined in honoring the deserving winners, marking a memorable conclusion to the festivities.
Felicitation of Dr. R. Vetrivel, an honorary professor by Poojya Swamiji
The event was truly memorable as Dr. R. Vetrivel generously donated 2.5 Lakhs to PPISR, with Poojya Swamiji acknowledging his kindness. Dr. Vetrivel then delivered an inspiring speech, further enriching the session.
Release of newsletter 2023 and Benediction by Poojya Swamiji
The event was further enhanced by the release of the 2023 newsletter by Poojya Swamiji. The 14th volume of the newsletter showcased the comprehensive activities and achievements of PPISR throughout the year 2023. Subsequent to the aforementioned event, Poojya Swamiji blessed the gathering with his inspiring words and profound thoughts. Followed this with vote of thanks by Ms. Bhavana Kulakarni.
DRISHTI visit by Poojya Swamiji
DRISHTI earlier known as activity forum was organized by PPISR research scholaors. DRISHTI is the platform where it will provide the opportunity for every PPISR family members (students, faculty, admin staff) to showcase their ideas with write-ups, special skills such as drawings, painting or writing articles on eminent scientists etc. This time DRISHTI was visited by Poojya Swamiji along with all the participants of annual day celebration, listened to the DRISHTI participants special thoughts.
